>As I lay here in bed, iPhone in hand, my mind wanders to the insanely exhausting day I’ve had. I was swamped at work. I’m talking an only-got-the-chance-to-pee-once kind of day. My body remains tense as I think about everything that was left undone at the office and I try to organize it mentally for the upcoming workday. And that’s when I hear it…the calming music to a mother’s ears–the sound of my baby girl breathing as she sleeps. It is now, listening to her relaxing breath as she sighs, that the muscles in my body relax. My crazy day at work has lost it’s grip on me for today and I am reminded that it is the little things–like the sound of a baby sleeping–that make all the difference.
